About the Job
We are a small, hard-working team, so we'd love to bring on a new teammate who is highly motivated and well-rounded. The Associate position is essential to the success of our Member Services team. The responsibilities of this role are dynamic and will regularly call upon your ability to independently solve problems, prioritize, and be inventive. For this reason, this role is great for those looking for a fast-paced, challenging customer-facing position.
You are a positive, collaborative, and driven individual who enjoys supporting members via email. You are passionate about helping others and find joy in solving problems. You are able to identify issues and provide a thorough, helpful solution.
You will be responsible for responding to member inquiries via email and occasionally, via phone.
You will identify member and company needs and prioritize accordingly.
You will solve member inquiries (big and small) and collaborate with other departments and team members in resolving issues.
You will troubleshoot and investigate technical issues.
You'll track feedback, bugs, and other statistics to relay messages to our Product and Engineering Team.
You'll use Zendesk, our administrative portal, and other support to tools to ensure our members receive quick and accurate support.
You will assist members in getting the most out of their UrbanSitter experience.
You have 1-2 years of relevant experience
You are regularly available to work 30-40 hours/week including Saturdays
You are an active, passionate UrbanSitter member
You are familiar with support ticketing systems, especially Zendesk
You are familiar with browser-specific nuances and troubleshooting
You have experience supporting or testing a mobile application (specifically on iOS or Android devices)
You have high-level proficiency in Excel and/or Google suite of collaboration products
You are highly motivated, professional and can work quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
You have great attention to detail and excel at written communication
You are a fast, independent learner
